About Aura Condos
Aura rises 272 metres to its spire at 386 and 388 Yonge Street, on the corner of Gerrard. Construction ran from January 2010 to the summer of 2014, with residents moving in that fall. The residential floors sit above a three-level retail podium owned by INGKA Centres, the shopping-centre arm of the IKEA group, which is why IKEA is the most mentioned topic in the building's Google reviews.
The address is about as central as Toronto gets: College station, Toronto Metropolitan University, the hospitals on University Avenue and the Eaton Centre are all within a short walk.
