About The Maple
Southwest Properties planned the project as a mixed-use building with a podium and a residential tower; its 2013 consultation materials described roughly 270 apartments. A 2012 news report described the plan as nearly 300 units and the biggest apartment building ever built downtown.
Wikipedia's list notes that the building's height is measured from the Hollis Street main entrance, since the site slopes steeply.
Storeys differ by source: 22 on Wikipedia's list, 21 in Southwest's 2013 materials, and 17 residential storeys above a podium in a municipal database. Unit counts range from about 270 (2013 materials) to nearly 300 (2012 news). We show 22 storeys and no unit count.
