About The Vüze

The tower sits between Fenwick Street and South Street. Its original developer pitched it as the largest residential project east of Toronto, but financial problems left it unfinished, and Dalhousie University bought it and ran it as student housing for decades.

Templeton Properties bought the building from Dalhousie in 2009 and refurbished the apartments. It was renamed The Vüze after the refurbishment. It has four elevators, including an express car that serves only the basement, lobby and top floors.

Wikipedia gives 106 m and 33 storeys in its summary and tall-building list, but a passage on Templeton's renovation says two added floors raised the height to 120 m. We use 106 m and 33 storeys. No reliable unit count was found, so none is shown.

You need a verified unit count or amenity list before deciding; neither was available from a reliable source for this page.

Before you buy in any Nova Scotia condo, ask for the declaration and by-laws, the condominium corporation’s recent financial statements, the reserve fund study and recent board minutes; together they show the corporation’s finances, special assessments and upcoming repairs. Use the condo fee calculator to check monthly costs and the land transfer tax calculators for closing.
