About Altitude
The tower was built on a former parking lot at the corner of Cathcart Street. Jean-Pierre Lagacé Architectes designed it, with interiors by Nicole Vekemans; Groupe Daca acted as developer and builder. Its address changed when University Street was renamed Robert-Bourassa Boulevard.
Wikipedia lists hotel-style services for residents: a pool, spa, fitness centre, lounge, business centre, conference room, security, concierge and valet. Restaurants occupy the street level.
Sources disagree on dates. Wikipedia's infobox gives construction from 2016 to 2019, but dated Commons photos show the tower under construction in 2012 and complete by June 2013, the Montreal Gazette said in 2014 it was constructed in 2013, and Apartments.com lists 2011. We use 2013. The address was 1225 University Street until the street was renamed Robert-Bourassa Boulevard.
